NOC Statement
This public Looking Glass is operated for network troubleshooting and inter-provider diagnostics. Results may be referenced in support and peering tickets.
Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)
This service is provided for legitimate connectivity diagnostics (ping, traceroute, MTR). By using this service you agree to the following rules.
- No scanning, brute force, stress-testing, reflection/amplification, or abusive automation.
- Do not test systems/networks you do not own or operate without authorization.
- Private, loopback, link-local, multicast and other non-routable targets are blocked.
- Rate limits and timeouts apply per source IP to prevent abuse and ensure availability.
- Attempts to bypass filters or rate limits may result in an automatic block.
Privacy Policy
We process minimal data required to operate and protect this service. No marketing analytics, profiling, or tracking cookies are used on this page.
What we log
- Source IP address (the client making the request)
- Timestamp of the request
- Selected tool (ping / traceroute / MTR)
- Submitted target (IP address or hostname)
- Execution status and basic runtime metadata (e.g. timeout/blocked/success)
Why we log it (purpose)
- Abuse prevention (rate limiting, blocking, incident investigation)
- Operational reliability (debugging service issues)
- Network security monitoring and troubleshooting
Legal basis (GDPR)
Processing is based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) to maintain service availability, protect the network, and prevent abuse.
Retention
Logs are retained for a limited period of up to 14 days and are then automatically deleted, unless a longer retention is required for investigating abuse or security incidents.
Data sharing
We do not sell or share log data with third parties. Data may be disclosed only if required to address abuse, security incidents, or due to legal obligation.
Your responsibilities
Please do not submit sensitive internal hostnames or private network information. The submitted target may be included in logs as described above.
